Overview

An elevated tee box provides views of the playing arena that is the first and final two holes. The 17th runs parallel to the second. The tee shot is played with a short carry over the same burn crossed on 2. Tight to the left of the fairway is a treacherous out of bounds line that instinctively forces bail outs to the right, frequently played from the 2nd fairway.

The approach is played with a short to mid iron to a green guarded by bunkers front-left and front-right. Here, it is better to be long than short. Special attention should be paid to the deep bunker front-right of the green.
