By Car

Machrihanish is approximately 3 hours by car from the centre of Glasgow. The journey follows the A82 along the stunning scenery of Loch Lomond, continues along the A83 through the Rest & Be Thankful, meanders alongside the scenic Loch Fyne before continuing along the beautiful Kintyre coast to Campbeltown and then a further cross country short drive to Machrihanish.

By Coach / Bus

Citylink provides a return national bus route from Glasgow to Campbeltown twice daily which takes approximately three and a half hours from Buchannan Bus Station to Campbeltown Town Centre stopping at Tarbert, Lochgilphead and Inveraray.

By Ferry

If you're travelling from from Ayrshire a ferry from Ardrossan links to Brodick on Arran (50 minutes). A short drive is required to Lochranza where the seasonal ferry (30 minutes) runs to Cloanaig on the Kintyre Peninsula. The ferry from Ardrossan must be booked in advance. There are ferry links also from Gourock to Dunoon and Potravadie to Tarbert. By Air

Two daily flights are available on a weekday from Glasgow to Campbeltown Airport (Machrihanish Air Base) which then leaves a short car or taxi journey of around 10 minutes to Machrihanish Golf Club. The flight time is only 25 minutes.
