The Machrihanish Golf Club

Machrihanish Golf Club are delighted to announce a brand new team fixture to replace the Pro-Am which has now been cancelled.

Saturday 10^th September will see the first Viking Classic sponsored by Insubiz take place at the club.

The competition is a four person team event open to ladies, gents and junior members from Machrihanish, Dunaverty, Carradale, Tarbert, and Machrihanish Dunes, however each team must have at least 2 Machrihanish members.

There are prizes for the first 4 places, with the winners taking the top prize of £500.

The format is best net score from holes 1-6, best combined 2 net scores from 7-12, and best combined 3 net scores from 13-18. A maximum handicap limit of 18 applies.

The cost is £50 per team.

Entries are now being taken and there are spaces for 42 entries with a closing date of 26^th August 2011, however the competition will close for entries as soon as 42 entries are received.
