Shepherds Cross 2015

The Shepherd's Cross was played on Sunday 26 th July in extremely wet and windy conditions. The early morning starters benefited from the drier conditions on the front nine holes before the heavy rain came and set the tone for the rest of the day. Due to the adverse weather, only 15 teams competed in a competition played over the first nine holes at Machrihanish, with the second nine holes being played on Machrihanish Dunes. The four person, texas scramble, team event produced some excellent scores, despite the inclement weather.

The winners on the day were Derek Stewart, Lee Mathieson, John McKinlay and David Wallace who combined superbly to shoot 59 less 3.1, nett 55.9.
