The event raised £1,052 which was presented by Jim Angus on behalf of the Rotary Club to Margaret Turner, the chairperson from South Kintyre Senior Citizens Committee.
It was well known local man, Vince Jordan who came out on top in the handicap competition after all the scores had been returned with a 78-10=68 to win this years event. Vince got to the turn two over par, before adding 5 pars on his way back to the clubhouse.
Craig Barr finished runner up with 80-11=69 and Mark Davis took third with 76-7=69 losing out to Craig’s better inward half.
The scratch prize was won by R Perry who finished with a 72, closely followed by former club champions, Stuart Campbell and George McMillan, both on 73.
In the ladies handicap it was back to back wins for Elizabeth Marrison from Dunaverty who took 3 shots off her score from the previous weeks Jimmy Kerr Open with 85-12=73.
