It was 16 times Club Champion, S A Campbell that took advantage of the good conditions to post a score of 40 points, playing off a handicap of two. Despite bogeys at the 1st and 2nd Stuart settled into his game and racked up 10 pars along with birdies at the 2nd, 6th, 10th, 12th and 14th to finish his day with a 2 under par 68.
Mark Davis was only a point behind with 39 points after a steady round including 11 pars, however double bogey’s at the 7th and 8th played a big part in the scoring and left Mark having to settle for second place.
New member, Walter Crichton, also managed to return a score of 39 to secure third place.
Willie Miller made a score of 35 points to pick up yet another Senior prize, and S MacBrayne took the honours in the Junior competition.
